HUGA is planning to contribute 5 to 10% of its annual turnover for RD expenditures to sustain company's growth and competitive advantage over peers. HUGA is not only developing high brightness and high quality LED with state-of-the-art design, but is also collaborating with equipment vendors to improve manufacturing process internally.

As a result, HUGA owns and has filed many patents in Taiwan, China, Netherland, U.S.A, Japan and Germany.
